ESAO Poster Award!

Congratulations to Tim Bierewirtz and team who presented a poster at the 50th ESAO (European Society for Artificial Organs) Congress and won the second poster prize with 300€ prize money!

The poster presented at the ESAO shows the first pump results of a new type of blood pump, which generates a valveless, pulsatile blood flow via a grooving movement and could possibly be used in the field of ECMO (extracorporeal membrane oxygenation).
