Academic Programs and Teaching
Our focus is on the interdisciplinary transfer of knowledge in the fields of medicine, computer science, and (bio)engineering. Students can earn doctorates in medicine (Dr. med.) and medical sciences (Dr. rer. medic.), as well as, in cooperation with TU Berlin, doctorates in natural sciences (Dr. rer. nat.) and engineering (Dr.-Ing.). Charité also offers the opportunity to pursue a PhD program. Teaching duties are carried out through practical training, seminars, and lectures. In addition, faculty members supervise groups using problem-based learning (PBL).
The programme focuses on teaching interdisciplinary skills in the fields of life sciences (medicine), computer science and (bio)engineering.
