Infrastructure project: “Central Image Management System” (BDMS)
Über das Projekt
This project aims to develop an innovative, patient-specific decision-support system for complex heart valve diseases such as aortic stenosis and mitral regurgitation. The combination of AI-based and physiological models enables precise, interactive simulations of haemodynamic parameters based on routine clinical data. The use of synthetic cohorts generates sufficiently large training datasets to increase the accuracy of the AI models.
This creates a fast, real-time tool that offers medical teams an individualised, data-driven assessment of various treatment options. The benefits lie in improved treatment planning, greater prognostic accuracy and a significant optimisation of treatment outcomes for heart valve diseases.
