Digital Image Analysis & Modeling
Our research leverages state-of-the-art multimodal imaging technologies (CT, MRI, Echo) combined with innovative sensor technologies, including novel wearables, to develop advanced solutions for prediction, diagnostics, and treatment planning.
A central focus lies on AI-driven approaches that sustainably improve diagnostic quality and enable a more precise assessment of cardiovascular diseases. Furthermore, our work focuses on the investigation of blood flow, fluid-structure interaction, biomechanics, and myocardial energetics of the heart.
