Congratulations to Dr. Vera Froese

The Institute for Cardiovascular Computer-Assisted Medicine (ICM) extends its warmest congratulations to Dr. Vera Froese on the successful defense of her dissertation.

Vera Froese, a research associate at the ICM, successfully defended her doctoral dissertation on April 29, 2026, at the Technical University of Berlin. Her dissertation, titled “Experimental Modeling of Blood Rheology and Hemolysis in Adult and Pediatric Blood,” focuses on the experimental investigation and modeling of blood rheology and hemolysis in adult and pediatric blood samples.

With her work, Vera Froese makes an important contribution to a better understanding of complex hemodynamic processes and to the further development of computer-assisted methods in cardiovascular medicine.

We warmly congratulate Dr.-Ing. Vera Froese on this significant milestone and wish her every success and all the best in her future scientific career.
