CAPTOR
As part of the CAPTOR project, the Institute for Cardiovascular Computer-Assisted Medicine is developing a cost-effective and highly sensitive “lab-at-home” system designed for easy use by laypeople.
The goal is to conveniently measure important laboratory biomarkers from home using urine samples, thereby creating new opportunities for personalized health monitoring and telemonitoring.
The focus is on developing user-friendly technology that enables medically relevant measurements outside of traditional laboratories. This will allow users to collect health data quickly, easily, and regularly—without the need for time-consuming lab visits.
